all life is— creating something from within yourself to fill the void we all desperately try to fill.  everything that is created, whether it be a glass teapot, a city building code, a school curriculum, an online social networking site, a specialized notebook, a downtown parade, an electronic song, is derived from the emotional memory of the person creating it.  emotions are raw, and shapeless, like a river of water.  refine the emotion long enough, learn to discipline internal instinct, and whatever form it manifests in will eventually become something good.

some people are luckier than others and find someone to keep them company, and they forget what loneliness feels like.  some others are not so lucky, and live with loneliness with every waking second of their life.  some others, fall somewhere in the middle and keep one eye shut.

i want to love.  i just want to love all the people who are part of me, whether they know it or not, whether we’ve never even met, whether they live far away in a cold bleak land, whether they live a few streets from me.  do you realize there are pieces of yourself scattered all over the world?  that girl who walked past you in the street.  that boy who stood in line at the coffee shop.  someone, somewhere, if you had been born and grew up in a different place, you would have met them.  and you would have loved them.  our lives thus far have been the sole byproduct of our parents’ generation’s bad choices.  why are we here?  why is my house 5 feet from my neighbors and why do i wake up to the sound of an obnoxious woman screaming at her children?  where are all my friends i have yet to meet even though i need them now?

without love, everything else is not important.  love is everything.  it is something that cannot be explained by science.  the source of consciousness that allows people to shape the world into a functioning, well-oiled machine for ourselves and our loved ones.  the source of consciousness that instinctively teaches us the quiet joy of kissing someone we love, running our fingers through their hair as we listen to the sound of their gentle breathing.  why is love universal?  why is it something that everyone wants?  where did it come from to begin with?

keeping yourself busy is the only way to keep yourself together.  if you feel the urge to get shitfaced drunk all the time, something is very, very wrong in your life.  alcohol is a nation’s destruction, herb is its inception.  the most concise way to finally learn the truth about who and what you are is to accept nature’s gift of mind elevation.  if your soul is not awake, you are irrelevant.  continue living the preconceived, shrink wrapped lifestyle that corporate america has shoved down your gaping open throat, they’ve made you their cumdumpster.

we have computers, instruments, blank sheets of paper, cameras, fruits and vegetables, trees and metal.  all of these things are tools the earth, and people before us, have created for everyone else to use.  learn a tangible trade that directly serves other people in the physical world if you want to be useful and successful, or you will join the ranks of the third of college graduates working minimum wage shit jobs irrelevant to their abstract majors.  learn to DO something.  it’s as if people have forgotten the point of life is to live simply, but not simple-mindedly.

general rules

1. love someone who loves you back.

2. work a job you love doing

3. always live close to your friends

4. make a comfortable home to come home to at night

5. eat, drink, sleep, walk, play, make love

5a. savor every precious second of sensory input

6. do not tolerate stupidity

7. be vigilant

everything falls to shit if you allow other people to plan the rules and things that constitute life, we are living in the consequences of apathy and narrow mindedness on a global scale.  people who are self aware, who recognize the truth of being human, are responsible for fixing the world’s mechanism and then filling it with beautiful things.

it takes all sorts of people to create a world, but one thing all of those people should have a passion for is social engineering.  ”politics”.  most of us are living life as dictated by pieces of shit who deserve their tongues to be cut off and shoved up their assholes.  you can blame the other people within the same generation that  stood by idly while idiots made the rules.  THE FUCKING RULES.  there are always rules, so it logically follows that free thinking people are responsible for finding them, breaking them, and making new ones.  everybody, everybody should be interested in fixing the remnant of our broken lives created by the people born earlier than us.  the world now belongs to the y generation.  we are a network that just has to be networked.  you must burn the old village to build the new city.

otherwise you will always be empty.
